This hearing will deal with the Energy, Infrastructure and Transport Topic
This chapter:
- includes renewable energy resources such as wind, hydro, solar, geothermal, biomass, tidal, ocean current and wave energy sources. It also includes the distribution and transmission networks for the energy system such as lines and substations,
- seeks to balance the provision of infrastructure with other resource management considerations,
- discusses how people and goods are safely and efficiently transported to destinations through a greater range of sustainable travel modes to meet the social, economic, cultural, and environmental wellbeing of people who live, work, and visit the Region.
