Timeline

In order to ensure that Te Tai o Poutini Plan is progressed at a good pace, and to allow sufficient time for the important community and stakeholder dialogue that needs to take place around complex matters, a work programme which smooths the workflow across a 5 year period to notification of the Plan is proposed.

This work programme would see work commence early on those areas where substantial policy making is required, while some of the areas where less policy work is required, is progressed in parallel. Working this way will ensure that drafting of the Plan can happen in a timely manner, as well as enabling consultation to be appropriately targeted to the key stakeholders for different components.
